Jesus and His standards are the same yesterday, today, and forever. If we tune ourselves to that ultimate standard, we will always be in tune with one another.
May the Lord give us all the grace to be slow to speak right now and quick to hear.
Are we really ready to work for this, together...on earth as it is in heaven?
I’m absolutely tired of hearing the “when churches open back up” phrase from Christian leaders.
From death came LIFE.
From ugliness came BEAUTY.
From betrayal, confusions and doubt came DEVOTION, CERTAINTY and FAITH.
A friend said to me years ago, “Adults learn on a need to know basis.”
I didn’t realize then what a profound statement that was.
It’s time for Christians, who seriously love Jesus, to step up and answer the call to live out God’s mission at such a time as this.
While many of us are stuck at home trying to find our way in this new reality, it’d be easy to become consumed with what’s happening within our four walls. Just beyond those walls, however, are all kinds of opportunities to love those around us.
It came like a double-whammy: First, the announcement came that Walt Disney World was shutting down as a precautionary move due to CoVid19. The next day, Disney announces they are releasing almost 10,000 employees from the Disney College Program as an extra precaution.
